Our grading conditions for laptops & desktops

Perfect condition

  • Appearance: The casing may have very light micro-scratches, invisible from a distance of 8 inches (slightly longer than a standard-sized pencil) or more. For products with a screen, the screen will have no scratches.

  • Technical quality: Excellent. Durability scores are high and the risk of technical problems is very low.

Good condition

  • Appearance: Slight signs of wear. The casing may have slight micro-scratches, invisible from a distance of 20 inches (about arm's length) or more. For products with a screen, the screen will have no scratches.

  • Technical condition: Very good. Durability scores are above average and the risk of encountering technical problems is low.

Fair condition

  • Appearance: Signs of wear. The body may have some visible scratches and dents that do not affect performance. For products with a screen, the screen may have light scratches that are invisible when the screen is on.

  • Technical condition: Good. The durability scores are average and still correspond to the quality levels required by our quality charter.

Acceptable Condition

  • Appearance:
    pronounced signs of wear. The body may have obvious defects that do not affect performance. For products with a screen, the screen may have light scratches or bright spots.

  • Technical condition:
    good. Durability scores are average and still meet the quality levels required by our quality charter. The device is 100% functional.

Our grading conditions for smartphones & tablets

Perfect condition

  • Appearance: Like new. The casing may have very light micro-scratches, invisible from more than 20cm (a little longer than a standard-sized pencil) or more. For products with a screen, the screen will have no scratches.
  • Technical condition: Excellent. Durability scores are high and the risk of encountering technical problems is very low.

Good condition

  • Appearance: Minor signs of wear. The casing may show slight micro-scratches, invisible from 50cm (about arm's length) or more. For products with a screen, the screen will have no scratches.

  • Technical condition: Very good. Durability scores are above average and the risk of technical issues is low.

Fair condition

  • Appearance: signs of wear. The casing may have some visible scratches and dents, but these do not affect performance in any way. For products with a screen, they may have slight scratches, barely visible when the screen is on.

  • Technical condition: good. Durability scores correspond to the quality levels required by our charter.
